Concession Information Sheet
Dear Concessionaire:
Cascades Inc. is organizing the Annual Cascades Civil War Muster on August 23 and 24, 2008, at Cascade Falls Park, Jackson, Michigan. We are pleased to provide you with the following information:
- NON-REFUNDABLE COMMERCIAL FEES FOR 2008 $725.00 PER CONCESSION STAND.
- Each concession stand must have at least $500,000 in liability insurance coverage and must name the County of Jackson and Cascades Inc. as additional insured on the insurance certificate. A copy of the insurance certificate must be sent with the event fee payment or entry will be automatically denied.
- We require that only Pepsi brand soft drinks be sold at this event.
- Generators will not be allowed on the west side of Brown Street.
- Concession space will be determined and allocated based on the best interest of the event as determined by Cascades Inc. Event staff will entertain NO favorites in their placement of concessions! No Exceptions!
- This application is non-transferable. Herein named organization or business must satisfactorily pass Health Department inspection and obtain a Jackson County Health Department license on dates herein named. Application is valid on August 23 and 24, 2008 only.
- All concessionaires must be in possession of a State of Michigan Tax License.
- ALL PERMITS MUST BE VISIBLY DISPLAYED.
- In order to be considered for the event, please send completed online application and a cashier’s check or money order made payable to: CASCADES INC. and a copy of your current insurance policy binder to: Cascades Inc., 1992 Warren Avenue, Jackson, MI 49203. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.
- Applications for entry as a food concessionaire will be on a first come first accepted basis.
- Set-up for the weekend begins Friday, August 22, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. Concessionaires will not be allowed to set up before then. No Exceptions!
- Falls main parking lot will not be available for deliveries or parking at any time during the event.
- Cascades Inc. does NOT promise any concessionaire exclusive rights in regards to food or beverage sold during the coarse of this event.
